Men receiving donations on line and women also receiving donations like sanatory pads and pampers for their babies and clothes
Manja Camp in Blantyre had 11674 individuals now its 576 participants that got support from Matekesa Family and Friends worthy MK1,900.000 (One million nine hundred thousand kwacha) it was on 13th March when the disaster just started specifically at three ways Soche hill Manja area in Blantyre Malawi.
It is believed that more dead people were not discovered and the land has been declared as a grace yard cause now to did the bodies may prove futile with the rotten bodies.
The school has 17 class rooms and administration block with two stores and a toilet for staff as for students the school has 56 rooms toilet however people including 112 children,165 girls ,89 boys ,76 men and 134 women in total 576.
Promise a six year old boy whose legs got amputated and needs more operation and psycho social support.
He is aged 6 with a family of dad and mum and a little sister who is 1.7 months old
The camp has 17 rooms which are all occupied with different natural groups as follows
- Women
- Pregnant women 28
- Mens rooms
- Adolescent girls and boys ,youth and kids.
The center has two kitchen of which the other one is a government and one provided by Indians
The Support from Matekesa Family and Friends has done great impact equivalent to MK1,900.000 (ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND KWACHA)

- Clothes for him promise and his mother and also his sister

What’s needed much now is moving the camp to different homes and provision of psycho social support in all 12 districts affected
Disaster preparedness management systems in place to prevent more calamities ahead of time
Provision for support for the four families that we bought for them blankets and mattresses and also others items that needs continuous support and follow ups

James Kholiwa lost all things including his wife on the disaster and he stays with his sister in a house that the Matekesa family and USA Friends paid rent for a month .
